Ovaries Defined
The part of a female's reproductive organs that store the eggs. Girls are born with all of the eggs they will ever have. After puberty, the OVARIES take turns and push one egg out each month. The OVARIES also make hormones that help the menstrual cycle work. Most females have two OVARIES, each one about the size of a strawberry. They are inside the body one on each side of the uterus at the ends of the FALLOPIAN TUBES.
